Wow. Weird.

Yesterday we had a huge storm come through. At about 8pm, it cleared up to the west just in time for the sunset, but was still dark, dark, dark to the east where the storm was headed. The light was bizarre and eerie and it took me quite a few tries to set the camera to capture it accurately, but I think I finally got it. ...creepy, huh?

Fantastic! I think that is the same storm I posted on my blog. Take a look at my photos shot from I-45 North from work. http://pleintexas.blogspot.com/ My dad was over in Waller when it happened and he called me and was scared. But then he has flown around in a tornado before so he has a good reason to get scared. Tornado PTSD. Such great greens and blues—but I am an artist so I get off on colored clouds. Great pics!

Dang Lisa, you are making me miss Prairie storms! I have been thinking a lot lately of moving back to the farm in Illinois.

i love your pictures of the rain storm; it was the perfect time of day to make it look eerie and awesome. i think that's why there are blessings for thunder, lightening and rainbows.
