The good, the bad and the ugly from our little goat dairy. Oh, and the cute, too. Lots of the cute.

It's the rules...
If you live in Texas and you want to be considered a true citizen, you must go out and take wildflower photos at least every couple of years. It was a good year for wildflowers in our neck of the woods. Duty done.
Oh you beat me out there! Can you believe I am actually going to pose my dog in the bluebonnets? You got some good photos. I have a place of FM 362 that I like, it is not as dangerous as people running across hwy 290. That rain we just had will really make them pop!
Blue Heron Farm is a small, family owned goat dairy committed to producing high quality, healthful foods in a sustainable manner.
Located on 10.5 acres in Field Store Community, Texas, we specialize in fresh goat cheeses, which are available at Houston-area farmers markets.
We are dedicated to serving a market that puts thought into their food choices and an importance not only on their own health, but that of the animals that are the source of their food.

It may be your duty but doesn't it also just feed your soul!
Yeah. This year was something spectacular. I have never seen such amazingly dense fields. You cannot help but be happy when you see them.
WOW!! That's all I can say every time I see the fields or a picture of the fields. lol Those are some amazing fields.
I've never seen anything like that before this year.
